Nine Days Of Japan
On November 30 I flew from New York's JFK to Tokyo . The non-stop flight took 14 hrs 20 mins.
The flight route took us up the Hudson River, between Montreal and Ottawa, over Hudson’s Bay, past Churchill Manitoba, between Kugluktuk and Cambridge Bay in Nunavut, across Alaska and out the Aleutians, skimmed past Kamchatka, Hokkaido and then on to Tokyo. Mostly over land!
The pictures and notes below are from my ten days of traveling around Japan. I only stayed in hotels with high-speed connections (except Aso) so I could keep up with my work at night using the Internet. Since my Japan night was USA day - the schedule worked quite well.
